Wendy has been selected at this year’s Locarno Filmmakers Academy among other acclaimed international young filmmakers.
Les Heures-Encre will be screened on Monday August 6th at this occasion. Don’t miss it if you’re in Locarno then!

Les Heures-Encre won the Foreign Visa Prize at the Fribourg International Film Festival. Supported by the organisation E-CHANGER and Fribourg Solidaire, the prize was awarded by a jury of guests from the New Territory section: Mongolia. It’s a an honor to get this prize at home!

• Les Heures-Encre won the Prix de la Francophonie and got two honorable mentions at the Festival Un Poing C’est Court in Vaulx-en-Velin. It’s its first award this year and hopefully not the last one!
• The film will also be presented at the 40th International Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand in the Swiss Panorama category.

Les Heures-Encre won the Audience Award in the European Competition at the Internationaal Kortfilmfestival Leuven.

What a surprise! We are really proud and grateful for this recognition!

Les Heures-Encre had a great success this Fall and we are really happy having the film travelling around the world.

• It was shown in Paris at the Festival des Signes de Nuit where it got the Edward Snowden Award. This award honors films, which offer sensible (mostly) unknown informations, facts and phenomenons of eminent importance, for which the festival wishes a wide proliferation in the future.
  Jury statement:
  For having treated the difficult topic of suicide at work, that concerns the working organisation’s bases in its new forms of exploitation and domination, transforming workers in victims and executioner, we give the Snowden award to Black hours by Wendy Pillonel.
  
• It is going to be shown at 16th International Student Film & Video Festival of Beijing Film Academy (ISFVF) 2017  in the international competition.
• The film will travel to Poland at the great Camerimage, International Film Festival for cinematography and will be part of the Student Etudes Competition
• Les Heures-Encre goes back to Germany to the Filmz, Festival des Deutschen Kinos in Mainz also part of the Best mid-length film competition.

Last weekend, Destiny won two awards at the Gässli Film Festival in Basel!

The film was awarded as Best Swiss Film and Wendy Pillonel got the price for Best Director.
We are really proud of this recompense!

Black Hours is nominated for the First Steps Award as best mid-length film. We are really proud of this nomination! Looking forward to hear the results on 18th September.

Black Hours will have its premiere in the US in Los Angeles! The film is part of the LA Shorts International Film Festival. We will see Igor from 3rd till 10th August

Igor goes to Hamburg! We are proud to be invited to the Hamburg Nachwuchspreis in the category Best Short Film. Fingers crossed for the results…
